In 2021, my wife and I took our second COVID trip back to the South West and its grand American National Parks.  We spent our time in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.  One of the highlights was a self-guided visit into the Fiery Furnace.  I secured two of 35 tickets for our chosen day by sitting on the computer and making the reservation exactly when they opened.  That hike in the rocks was amazing.  Yesterday, my wife told me that the Fiery Furnace  is closing down due to funding issues…  I’m sorry that others will not be able to experience this amazing place.
