Update from Oaxaca, today for lunch I had a chiles rellenos plate which reminded me of the rellenos my family made growing up, a tradition I have continued infrequently in adulthood. Despite not having a sauce the rellenos egg/flower coating had the right flavor which is not always the case in the US and a few occasions I’ve tried them in Mexico.
