Yesterday Philipp Lenssen over at Google Blogoscoped posted an interesting idea -
Blog Idea: Ask Companies to Send Free Stuff. He suggests a blog which tracks the responses to request for free goodies from manufactures.

It sounds like an fun project to try so I decided to take him up on the suggestion and registered Goodiesblog.com. Well I wait for the DNS information to propagate I’m setting up the initial site design in Textpattern using Photo Dude’s template Web Writer 2. Initially I thought about creating a more graphical site. But instead I’m going to wait until the site is up and running with some content before making that move.
